Pontiac Grand Prix Owners Gain 16 + Horsepower with K&N FIPK

Style and performance have defined the Pontiac Grand Prix since 1962. The first
two generations of Grand Prix were considered large, even by early 1960
standards. The car went to mid-size by 1969 and the 2004, 2005 design shows off
a new interior for the ninth generation.
K&N Engineering has developed a new 57-series Generation II Fuel Injection Performance Kit (57-3049) that will add a bigger punch to the 2004, 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix 3.8L V6. K&N tests have shown a 16.78 horsepower gain at 5248 RPM with this rotationally molded polyethylene intake.
By replacing the Grand Prix factory air intake assembly with K&N's 57-Series Fuel Injection Performance Kit (57-3049) the engine gets cool, dense air with less restriction. The FIPK uses K&N's high-flow, washable and reusable air filter (RF-1048) which performs up to 100,000 miles before service is required (depending on driving conditions).
"The hole on this heat shield is for the processors wiring harness," said K&N Performance Kit Manager Bert Heck. "The computer is small but it has a lot of wires. They are color coded and very easy to put back into place."
K&N's FIPK (57-3049) can be installed in 90 minutes or less with simple hand tools and lasts up to 100,000 miles before service is required (depending on driving conditions). It also comes with the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
