Performance Air Intake Kit for Mini Cooper S 1.6L
K&N Engineering has developed an Air Induction System (57A-6006)
for the 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 Mini Cooper S 1.6 liter engine. It is designed with the Apollo, a specially designed K&N Air Filter
and enclosure.
The K&N Apollo bolts onto the Mini Cooper's intake. The Apollo is a closed system designed to eliminate hot air problems and provide the benefits of an open cone filter and standard airbox in one unit.
Simply remove the stock airbox and replace it with the K&N Air Induction System for additional air flow. The stabilizer with brackets allows the K&N Air Induction System to stay firmly in place. Once in place the 57A-6006 helps add performance by allowing free flowing air into the throttle body of the Mini Cooper.
All adaptors for the K&N Air Induction Systems are made from high quality materials such as steel, aluminum, silicone or reinforced nylon to ensure longevity. It takes 90 minutes or less to install this kit with simple hand tools.
