Nissan 350Z Simple Power and Performance Additions
- Jun 11, 2008
The Nissan 350Z sports coupe was introduced for the 2003 model year. This 2-door 2-passenger sports car is equipped with a powerful 3.5 liter V6 engine that can deliver more than 300 horsepower. The 350Z is the fifth generation of Nissan’s Z-car line of sports cars and frankly, the best equipped. Whether your 350Z model is a two-seat coupe or a convertible soft-top roadster, the Nissan 350Z is your ticket to exceptional power and performance. K&N Engineering wants to help you get the most out of your Nissan 350Z. Our replacement air filters, performance air intakes, and premium oil filters are designed to provide a lifetime of performance while protecting your engine from harmful contaminants.
K&N replacement air filters for the Nissan 350Z are designed to increase horsepower and acceleration while providing excellent filtration. K&N air filters fit directly into the factory air box of the 350Z, making them simple performance add-ons. The Nissan 350Z was designed with two stock air boxes so two K&N air filters are required.
2007, 2008, and 2009 Nissan 350Z models benefit from a pair of K&N’s 33-2399 high flow air filters. The 33-2399, like all K&N air filters, is a washable and reusable air filter. Depending on driving conditions, K&N air filters can last up to 50,000 miles before cleaning is required. 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006 Nissan 350Z models 3.5L gain a lifetime of performance from K&N's 33-2031-2. K&N air filters are backed by our Million Mile Limited Warranty® and will be the last air filter your 350Z will ever need. K&N Performance Air IntakesK&N performance air intakes for the 350Z are guaranteed to increase horsepower. Our air intakes replace the entire factory air path between the engine and the air filter.
2007 and 2008 Nissan 350Z uses K&N’s 69-7071TS performance air intake. This air intake uses two intake tubes to smooth and straighten air-flow. When combined with the two K&N high flow cotton air filters it supplies virtually unrestricted air-flow to your engine while providing excellent protection. Two heat shields are also provided to help cool the air entering the engine. Tests show the 69-7071TS provides an estimated gain of 8 horsepower @ 5800 RPM. Owners of 2003 to 2006 Nissan 350Z’s have a variety of performance air intake systems to choose from. K&N’s 69-7070TB, a blue powder coated intake, and K&N’s 69-7070TP, a polished aluminum cold air intake, can provide an estimated gain of 10 more horsepower. You may also choose K&N’s black non-metallic intakes 57-6013. K&N dyno testing showed these intakes gain around 10 horsepower @ 5500 RPM. K&N Premium Oil FiltersThe K&N Performance Gold® Oil Filter, HP-1008, for the Nissan 350Z was designed with a 1”-hex nut welded to the top of the canister for easy removal. This premium oil filter allows for high oil flow rates while protecting your engine from contaminants that can damage your engine. The HP-1008 uses ultra-thick canister walls for extra strength and durability which helps reduce the risk of damage from loose rocks and debris.
