best selling trucks in America for more than 20 years. It offers 4-wheel
antilock brakes on all models and earned a 5 star rating from the National
Highway Transportation Safety Administration in its crash test ratings.

K&N Engineering, Inc. has made a performance Air Intake Kit 57-2569 for 2006 Ford F150 pickups with the 4.6L V8 engine. K&N tests have shown a horsepower gain of 8.48 @ 4775 RPM with the K&N 57-2569 Air Intake. The Mass Air Sensor has been placed into the K&N Intake Tube for optimum performance, said K&N Technical Development Supervisor Kirk Swanson.

57-2569 rotationally molded polyethylene Intake System uses a
Round Tapered Universal Air Filter (RF-1041). "This air intake replaces the
restrictive stock air filter housing," said Swanson. "The heat shield isolates
the filter element from engine heat. This results in a cooler air charge going
into the engine."
It takes less than an hour to install this kit and the lifetime K&N Air Filter performs for up to 100,000 miles before service is required depending on driving conditions. This air intake system is street legal in all 50 US states for the 2006 Ford F150 pickup with 4.6L V8 engine.
