Many of the vehicles that appear at SEMA are strictly for advertising. Some are daily driven vehicles transformed into custom show cars. Some are company vehicles loaded with aftermarket parts. Let's think about this for a moment... Some companies provide their sales representatives with the luxury of a company vehicle. These vehicles are primarily used to travel around and visit their customers. Normally the only thing that is done to the vehicle is filling up the gas tank and changing the oil. Instead of serving one purpose, SNUGTOP allows their sales reps to customize their company vehicle. This is a useful tool that allows the customer to assess and visualize the quality of aftermarket products out there.

"Corky" Ivan L. Volp III has been a SNUGTOP employee for the last 17 years. Through his extensive network, he was able to build a truck that displays the various manufactures product as well as the one he promotes. We were fortunate enough to catch up with him and get the scoop on his slick 2011 Toyota Tundra.

Ivan loves his job and explained, "The truck is used mainly to advertise".

The company owned truck has been equipped with aftermarket products from the following manufactures:

-SNUGTOP Aero Sport Truck Cap -AMP Research (Power Step)
-Ready Lift (Suspension)
-RBP (Custom Grill)
-Gibson (Exhaust)
-K&N (Intake System)
-MHT (Wheels)
-Vision X (lighting)
-APM Auto (ram air hood)
-Toyo Tires

One of the coolest upgrades has to be the ram air hood that functions with the K&N intake system. The incoming air is actually funneled through the scoops in the hood straight into the K&N high flow air filter.

Ivan said, "I have had K&N on many different vehicles and enjoy the noticeable power increase." K&N power testing of the two available K&N intake systems for 2007-2011 Toyota Tundra with a 5.7L engine showed an estimated gain of 13 horsepower.

Ivan would like to thank all the manufactures and people involved with putting the truck together including James at Toys For Trucks in Hesperia, California.

Find K&N products for your vehicle using the K&N application search then use the K&N dealer search to find a K&N dealer in your part of the world.
