Her father, Loren Snyder said he is her proud crew chief and banker. “When she won her first race, I realized Taylor was wiping the dirt off of her face onto my shirt,” he said. “Besides her banker and crew chief I also realized I’m her Handi-Wipe.”
Taylor said the pink rim design on her Trophy Kart is a target on the track. “The boys know I’m a girl because of the pink and they don’t want me to beat them,” she said. “They really come after me during my races. It’s okay, because I love what I do and I love meeting the fans especially the little girls who want to race one day too.”
Snyder grew up around motorsports, including fast boats and motocross. She has plans to race again next season. Her Trophy Kart was on display at SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Nevada. “We use K&N filters because it is the one thing I don’t have to worry about when Taylor races,” said Loren Synder. “K&N is the best.”
