California Teen Wins Race for Dad on Father's Day at Auto Club Speedway

The Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California hosted the Division 7 Junior Drag Race on Father’s Day. Zachary Bogner, 14, won
it for his dad, Tom Bogner. After the race, the teen shook his father’s hand and said, “I won this one for you.”

He fought hard the whole day and in the 13 - 14 division and won each round. In the final, Bogner went 7.95 on a 7.90 dial with a .54 reaction against Ryan Greenwell who broke out by .001 and had a .52 reaction time.
Bogner drives for Dan Soltz, the car owner and tuner. During the trophy ceremony, Zac Bogner presented his trophy to Crew Chief Dan Soltz and said, “This trophy is for you, Happy Father’s Day.”
