The entry level single-cylinder machine is manufactured in India by KTM's partner, Bajaj Auto. The Duke 125 successfully addressed KTM's most youthful entry-level target group, which developed as a result of the new EU regulations that allow 16-year-olds to ride 125cc bikes with a maximum horsepower of 15 horsepower. Interestingly however, KTM dealer statistics showed an even split in 125 buyers between 16-18 year-olds, and everyone older than 18.
