The 57-1554 features a specially molded intake tube and a large open element chrome top K&N air filter. The air filter,
RF-1041, rests behind a powder coated steel heat shield. This helps isolate it from the rest of the engine compartment. Cooler outside air is directed toward the K&N air filter from the factory fresh air duct. A steady supply of unrestricted airflow reaches the Nitro’s engine for an instant performance gain. No other modifications are necessary.
The high flow technology invented by K&N and made in the USA provides the best balance of airflow and filtration. The
RF-1041 is also washable and reusable and can go up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is necessary.
The 57-1554 K&N air intake system can be easily installed in 90 minutes or less with a socket set, flat blade screwdriver and a 10mm wrench. The K&N air intake system is backed by the K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
