Polaris set out to revolutionize the high performance sports quad category, and
did so with the Polaris Outlaw 500 ATV. The Outlaw 500 is the first high performance
sports quad to feature fully independent rear suspension to handle the roughest
terrain while providing the most comfortable ride possible for the rider. The
Outlaw 500 is powered by a 499cc, 50 horsepower, single cylinder engine with a
5-speed manual transmission.
Air Filter for 2006 and 2007 Polaris Outlaw
The 2006 and 2007 Polaris Outlaw 500 can tackle even the toughest terrain. Coupled with the
newly designed K&N replacement air filter, the
PL-5006,
there is little mother nature can throw at the Outlaw 500 that it can¹t handle.
K&N¹s pleated cotton design provides a larger surface area than that of a foam air filter, and provides outstanding filtration and dust capacity. This means you don¹t have to clean your air filter as often, and can ride uninterrupted longer. K&N¹s high flow technology means that your Outlaw 500 gets all the air it needs to provide optimum horsepower.
Installation is easy; simply remove the stock air filter from the factory air box, and install the new K&N ATV air filter according the included instructions. No cutting or drilling is required.
The PL-5006 is washable and reusable, which can save you time and money in replacing disposable air filters. K&N¹s pleated cotton design provides optimum airflow and outstanding filtration in the harshest environments, highest altitudes and dirtiest off-road conditions.
