Dyno tests using the 57-3030-1 intake kit showed increases of 17.31 horsepower. By smoothing air flow to your engine, this intake system can improve your vehicle’s horsepower and torque. This part is also compatible with the 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Classic 8.1L engine.

2006 Chevy Silverado 2500's with a 6.6-liter diesel engine may use K&N's 57-3000 to improve performance. 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Classic vehicles with a 6.6L diesel engine, and 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 6.6L diesel models that use a round filter may also benefit from these black, non-metallic air intake systems.

Owners of 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500's with the 6.6-liter LLY diesel engine and 2005 Chevy Silverado 2500 models with the 6.6-liter diesel engine that use a panel filter use K&N's 57-3047 to gain 20.14 horsepower @ 3157 rpm or 77-3047KP for a gain of 17.52 horsepower @ 3158 rpm. The 57-3047 uses a non-metallic intake tube for better power gains. K&N's 77-3047KP uses a polished aluminum intake tube to smooth and straighten air-flow while making an authoritative sound.

K&N's 57-3034 and 77-3034KP air intake systems were designed for the 2001, 2002, and 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500's with a 6.6-liter diesel engine as well as 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 models with the 6.6-liter LB7 diesel engine. The 57-3034 gains 16.33 horsepower @ 2750 rpm with its non-metallic tube while the 77-3034KP gets 12.55 more horsepower @ 3248 rpm using its polished aluminum intake tube.

K&N's 57-3066 was designed for the 2007 to 2010 Chevy Silverado 2500's with a 6.6-liter diesel engine and provided a gain of 19.67 horsepower @ 2900 rpm. The 71-3066 Blackhawk Induction Systems intake is also available for these models, featuring stylish black filter media.

The 77-3031KP performance air intake kit is engineered to fit 2000-2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 6.0L engines, and the 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD Classic 6.0L. This intake kit features aerodynamic design and a high-flow K&N air filter with washable filter media, to benefit air flow and improve performance.

K&N's 77-3031KP may also be used for 2001 to 2006 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD models with a 6.0-liter engine to gain 15.2 horsepower @ 5024 rpm or K&N's 57-3031-1 for a gain of 20.34 horsepower @ 4894 rpm. K&N air intakes for the Silverado usually take around 90 minutes to install.

2000 to 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500 owners that have the 6.0-liter engine and the 2000 Chevy Silverado 2500's with the 5.3-liter engine may use K&N's performance intake systems 57-3023-1 or 77-3023KP. The 57-3023-1 uses a non-metallic intake system to gain 15.17 horsepower @ 5018 rpm. The 77-3023KP, aluminum intake kit, gains 14.05 rpm @ 4897 rpm. 2004 Chevy Silverado 2500's with the 5.3-liter engine may also use K&N's 57-3023-1.

K&N’s 57-3067 performance air intake is designed to improve performance in 2007 and 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD models with a 6.0-liter V8 engine. This intake kit includes a chrome-topped K&N high-flow air filter with washable media, backed by K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty^®. By replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing, a K&N air intake increases horsepower throughout your engine’s RPM range. Dyno tests using the 57-3067 in a 2007 Silverado 2500 showed gains of 11.44 horsepower at 4500 RPM.

Owners of a 2011, 2012, 2013 or 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 with a 6.6-liter diesel engine is compatable with the 57-3077 and the 77-3077KP. The 57-3077 has an estimated gain of 19.34 HP @ 2420 RPM, where as the 77-3077KP increases horsepower to 12.19 @ 2850 RPM and comes with a polished finish. 2011, 2012 and 2013 Chevy Silverado 2500's with a 6.0-liter engine is able to increase power by about 10.23 HP @ 5033 RPM using the 77-3076KTK.

These K&N air filters are engineered to fit directly into each factory air box, and no cutting and fitting are required. These filters are 1.875 inches tall because of the carbon trap on the airbox lid. This allows the K&N air filters to sit lower in the base of the airbox. K&N E-0776 and E-0784 air filters for 2003 to 2009 Dodge diesel trucks are noticeably different from the stock filter and can easily be confused by consumers as being "incorrect."

However, both of these K&N air filters do replace the OE flat panel air filter in the factory airbox. Their unique shape and design make maximum use of area in the factory airbox. Both still seal the same as the OE filters, but instead of hanging at the top of the airbox, they go all the way down to the bottom of the airbox. The K&N air filter allows more surface area than a flat panel air filter could provide and greatly increases dust capacity.

Special Needs Children in Big Bay, Michigan Benefit from Sprint Car Competition

Defending Knoxville Raceway 360 sprint car track champion Brian Brown battled against two of the better drivers in the business before pulling away for a special win in Sedalia, Missouri.

Brown battled with Jason Johnson and Sprint Cup star Kasey Kahne in the Michael Ross Memorial Foundation (MRMF) car with K&N Engineering products. “The race was a good one,” said the Grain Valley, Missouri driver. “We were fortunate to start on the pole, but after a restart on lap three, Jason was able to slide by me. We were able to pass him, but Kasey got in the action and passed us both. Kasey and I raced by each other three or four laps and he proved why he’s such great driver.”

Brown has used K&N Engineering air and oil filters for seven years. “Anyone looking for more horsepower and durability should use K&N filters,” he said. “K&N protects my engines and gives me an extra advantage on the track.”

The MRMF benefits the Bay Cliff Health Camp in Big Bay, Michigan. The camp is for handicapped children only, many with special care needs. “I don’t have a whole lot of money myself to donate to the foundation, but I did donate half of my winnings,” said Brown. “I thought it was the least I could do. I’ve always been a big supporter of the foundation and I believe in what they do at the Michigan camp.”
