The Mercury Milan is the corporate twin to Ford's Fusion and shares
architecture, drive train configuration and safety technology. Both ride on a
stretched widened version of the highly acclaimed Mazda 6 platform, providing
good handling from the four-wheel independent suspension and rack and pinion
system.
K&N Engineering has designed a filter (33-2357) to fit in the factory air box of
the 2006 to 2009 Mercury Milan and Ford Fusion with a 2.3L engine, 2010 to 2011 Mercury Milan with a 2.5L engine, and 2010 to 2012 Ford Fusion 2.5L engine models. The drop-in
design means adding performance is easy. Simply remove the disposable air filter
in the Milan or Fusion and replace it with the K&N Air Filter.
Replacement Air Filter for Mercury Milan and Ford Fusion
Unlike disposable filters, K&N Air Filters use a unique pleated design
consisting of an oiled cotton fabric between two layers of epoxy-coated aluminum
screen. The filters capture airborne dirt particles and allow high volume air
flow. These particles then cling to the outside of the filter and become part of
the filtering media.
The washable, reusable, high flow flat panel filter is designed to increase
horsepower and acceleration, while providing excellent filtration. The (33-2357)
is 1.063 inches in height (27mm) with an outside length of 10.438 inches (265mm)
and an outside width of 6.25 inches (159mm).
K&N invented the concept of washable, reusable filters more than 35 years ago.

famous K&N Million-Mile Limited Warranty and will be the last air filter your
vehicle will ever need.
The Twin Cam Harley-Davidson engine was the first engine change for Harley in
more than a decade. It boasts 88 cubic inches, dual cams, O-ring based gaskets.
Twist the throttle and there is a difference, the bike passes instant power with
a twist of the wrist.
K&N Engineering developed a RK-Series Air Filter Assembly (RK-3909-1)
built around the legendary K&N High-Flow Air Filter. The latest addition is
designed to get more horsepower and retain the stock appearance for
1999 to 2012 Twin Cam Harley-Davidson engines.
Custom Air Cleaner Assembly for Harley Davidson Motorcycles
"The custom assembly
(RK-3909-1)
keeps the factory appearance by using the stock air cleaner cover," said K&N
Powersports Application Coordinator Lisa Watson. "There is superior filtration
and performance with a K&N stamped laser-etched beauty ring."
The new RK- Series Assembly has a powder coated billet aluminum backplate that
eliminates external breathers and features a built-in, dyno-tuned velocity
stack. The result is a significant airflow increase to the engine without
sacrificing filtration.
At this time the RK- Series Air Filter Assembly (RK-3909-1)
does not fit Twin Cam Engines with the Magnetti-Morelli fuel injection system.
"The Magnetti-Morelli systems have an oval port," said Watson. "This K&N kit
fits a round port."
As with all K&N Motorcycle High-Flow Air Filters, the RK-Series Air Filters can be cleaned,
re-used and is backed by the famous K&N Million Mile Limited Warranty.
It was a good day at the 52nd annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals at O’Reilly
Raceway Park at Indianapolis for NHRA Racer Dan Fletcher. With his 1969 Summit
Racing Camaro Fletcher defeated David Edwards in Stock Eliminator.

Fletcher’s final round win in the $2.6 million NHRA POWERade Series was
his fifth NHRA National Event win. “I drag race for a living, almost every
weekend,” he said. “It’s been a good year.” The race is the 18th of 23 events in
the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series.
Fletcher has raced full time since 1997 and spends weeks on the road. “I drive
to the races from about the middle of February until the middle of November,”
said the 40 times National Event winner. “The hardest part is being away from my
family, but it’s better than having a day job.”

products my engines outlast and outperform other cars.”
The next stop on the NHRA POWERade circuit is the 22nd annual Toyo Tires NHRA

Team Babbitt’s Enxus Oil Kawasaki is gearing up for another season of BooKoo
Arenacross.
Josh Demuth BooKoo Arenacross Champ
In February, Josh Demuth won the BooKoo Championship Title in the 2006 BooKoo
Arenacross Championship Series presented by K&N Engineering. Demuth withstood a
full season of ups and downs to take home the 250, 450 and overall championship
titles for Team Babbitt. The day after the final race, Demuth announced he was
retiring from racing.
One month later, the 27-year-old came out of retirement and secured a deal with
AMA supercross for the BooKoo Honda team.
“We’re sorry to see Josh go, but we’re happy for him,” said Team Babbitt’s Enxus
Oil Kawasaki Manger Denny Bartz. “If Josh was coming back it would make things a
lot easier, but our team has another shot at back to back championships.”
Team Babbitt uses K&N Engineering products during the competition. “We dyno
tested K&N Air Filter (KA-2506XD),
said Bartz. “The result was one horsepower gain. That is a huge amount in
arenacross racing.”

Racer Phil Burkart is preparing for the annual meeting of avid fans and
machinery in the rural Pennsylvania countryside at Maple Grove Raceway.
As he readies for this weekend’s Toyo Tires Nationals, Burkart has recently put
big round wins on the board at both Memphis and Indianapolis. He has vaulted
himself back into the POWERade top ten for the first time since late May.

At Burkart’s opening round win at his most recent race, the Mac Tools U.S.
Nationals in Indy, the Checker, Schuck’s Kragen Funny Car driver pulled off a
major hole-shot win.
“Things have definitely been better for us over the last two races, and we’re
building off that,” said Burkart. “Not only that, but our second round losses
were both nothing to sneeze at either. We were beat by Eric Medlen and Robert
Hight in those two rounds, and we have them both a battle to the end, so there’s
nothing to be ashamed of there. We went through a period of not being able to
get a win light, no matter what we did, and it feels good to get off that
streak.”

Filters(HP-5001).
“The thick canister walls on the K&N Filters have extra strength and
durability,” he said. “It reduces the risk of damage from debris on the race
track.”
Burkart is taking it one race at a time and one lap at a time. “We plan to win
as many rounds as possible,” he said. “We aim to keep going.”
