gearing up for the 2007 SCORE Season.

The SCORE Laughlin Desert Challenge starts this weekend. In 2006, the CORR
Pro-2 Champion missed winning at Laughlin overall by a mere 30 seconds. This
year, owner and driver Renezeder hopes to make that time up and more.
“I wish we were there today,” said Renezeder. “The truck is ready. The team is
ready and I’m so ready I can barely stand it.”

The Laguna Beach, California resident successfully opened up his desert
season in 2006 by winning the infamous Laughlin Leap, and went on to win the
race the first day. He set a win or go home precedent for the season.
“We always set high expectations for ourselves, but there seems to be an even
greater sense of urgency to get a win this year,” said Renezeder. “Laughlin is
tough because you have to be absolutely flawless. It’s a sprint race that
requires you to be on top of your game both days. That plays to my team’s
strengths, so my hopes are high.”
With the 2nd place finish at Laughlin last season, a 3rd place at the SCORE
Primm 300, 10 short course wins and a short course championship, Renezeder has
everything necessary for continued success.
“As we prepare for the 2007 season, we’re excited about our continued
relationship with K&N Engineering,” Renezeder said. “We strive to be the best
and set our sights on a championship every year, so it only makes sense to use
the best products each industry has to offer. K&N makes the best Air and Oil
Filters and is the true industry leader. We use their products with total
confidence and do our best to make them proud.”
Renezeder also said history does not win races. As soon as the checkered flag
waved at the final race of 2006, the 2007 season started with a clean slate.
“It’s time to build a new season record,” said Jennifer Bissett of American
Flyer Racing. “The team would like to do that with a win.”

The mandrel-bent, free flowing polished aluminum tube was custom designed for these Sport
Utility Vehicles. The tube mounts to the throttle body and over the fender well so that the K&N Air Filter (RU-4730) is positioned away from the engine's heat. The K&N Air Filter is further isolated from the engine by a
black powercoated steel heat shield.
The 77-Series polished intake tube is equipped with stainless-steel hose clamps
and black powdercoated steel brackets for support. The polished tube adds a
custom design to the engine compartment.
Installation can be done with simple hand tools . This K&N 77-Series Air Intake comes complete with all the necessary hardware,
including die-cast aluminum sensor adapters.
Ford, Mazda and Mercury owners can now benefit from the heavy duty construction
of K&N Engineering's new Performance Gold Oil Filter, HP-2009.
The design helps reduce the risk of engine damage from street debris.

K&N Oil Filter removal is also fast and easy because of our sturdy one inch wrench
nut.
Our Performance Gold Oil Filters are designed with rolled threads to provide
extra protection against stripping.
K&N uses metal top end caps instead of paper to ensure that no unfiltered oil
can get back into its system. Also, the inner core provides extra structural
support to prevent filter collapse.
K&N's Performance Gold Oil Filters are covered by a limited warranty to be free
of defects in material and workmanship when installed and replaced using the
engine and equipment manufacturer's recommended service interval.
The Ford Focus II is one of the best selling compact cars in Europe. Its
sophisticated multilink rear suspension design puts it in the top of its class
when it comes to handling, safety and agility.
Air Intake Kit for Ford Focus II
K&N Engineering has developed a 57i Series Generation 2 Intake Kit (57i-2503)
for the 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Ford Focus II 2.5 liter engine. The intake tube on
this K&N Intake Kit replaces the entire intake track from the original air box.
The silicone hose is connected to the heat shield and is designed to replace the
vent hose of the stock air system. In order to prevent hot air from entering the
air intake system the K&N Air Filter is positioned in the heat shield away from the
engine. K&N designed this kit to achieve maximum horsepower by picking up the
coolest air possible.
K&N also provides a stabilizer with brackets. The stabilizer allows the K&N
Intake Kit to stay in place. All adaptors are made from high quality materials
such as steel, aluminum, silicone or reinforced nylon for longevity.
