K&N has a new polished aluminum High-Flow Air Intake System (77-9033KP) for 2007, 2008, 2009 & 2010 Toyota Tundra owners with a 4.0 liter V6 engines looking for a little flash under the hood.

K&N dynamometer testing shows an estimated 9.6 horsepower gain @ 4743 RPM. K&N’s air intake design has lower restriction than the factory air box system. The result is a power gain you can feel immediately along with excellent air filtration.

The intake tubes on the 77-9033KP use a CNC machined mass air sensor adaptor. K&N's design ensures the mass air sensor will work with the factory's stock settings. The air intake tube and K&N air filter attach together with an adaptor which provides for a smooth transition for the air entering the tube.

The chrome top K&N high flow air filter (RF-1020) allows virtually free flowing air into the mandrel bent aluminum intake tube. Inside the filter, multiple layers of cotton are treated with 1.84 ounces of K&N air filter oil which traps and holds dust particles while allowing air to pass by with little restriction. The size of the K&N air filter also allows it to go up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is necessary.

The heat shield assembly is installed into the engine compartment using factory mounting points. A tube mounting bracket supports the intake tube which is mounted to the engine. The heat shield isolates the K&N air filter from the engine compartment and allows it to receive a consistent flow of fresh air. Installation can be performed in less than 90 minutes.

Slovakian made Kia Cee'D and Hyundai I30 Gain Power with K&N Air Induction Kit

The Kia Cee'D is a five-door hatchback designed and built in Europe to meet the needs of European consumers. It is equipped with six airbags and built at Kia’s assembly plant in Slovakia. Hyundai put the I30 on the showroom floor as a cheaper alternative to its better equipped European rivals. The I30 is equipped with only one standard airbag and no ABS brakes.

In the big money bracket racing arena, he is only one of two racers in history to win two $50,000 events in one season. The Maspeth, New York resident wrapped up another great racing season by winning the $42,000 winner-take-all Ultimate Gambler event at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Biondo competes in IHRA and NHRA Sportsman Class events along with big money bracket races

The Ultimate Gambler event is a shootout loaded with the top names in bracket racing from coast-to-coast. Biondo used a .011 and 4.753 on his 4.74 target to oust Idaho standout Dan Lafferty. In the semi-final round, Biondo defeated Jeff Cheney to advance to the final for a rematch with two time defending NHRA Super Comp Champion Shawn Langdon. Langdon is also a K&N sponsored Sportsman Class racer. Biondo took the victory with a 4.806 on his 4.77 dial over Langdon’s .018 induced 4.893 (4.85 dial).

The Ultimate Gambler victory put a huge mark on Biondo’s 2008 resume. After starting his season with a Stock victory at the IHRA Sportsman National event at Immokalee Regional Raceway, Biondo went on to appear in five NHRA national event final rounds. Of those five Biondo won Stock at Gainesville, Super Stock at St. Louis and Stock again at Englishtown.

He also ran six big money bracket events in 2008. At the JEGS U.S. Open in July, Biondo won the $10,000-to-win event. In August, he scored a $25,000-to-win victory at the AA Auto Salvage Superbucks Weekend at Atco Dragway. In September he competed in the Million Dollar race in Memphis, Tennessee and took home a new dragster and motor in a special 64-car-shootout. In November he went to the Winter Series in Brandenton, Florida and won $15,000.

Extra Air Filter Available for K&N Motorcycle Air Cleaner Assembly

K&N has released a new specialty air filter, part E-3972. The E-3972 is the filter used in K&N’s RK-3930, a high flow air cleaner assembly designed for 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 Harley Davidson Touring Models with 1584 cc motors.

The E-3972 has a unique shape, is washable, reusable and designed to provide increased airflow while providing excellent engine protection.
