Yamaha FZ6 and XJ6 Owners Have K&N Performance Option

The 2009 Yamaha FZ6R is known as a “jack of all trades” style sport bike, combining performance with the comfort of a touring model. The 2009 Yamaha XJ6 is the FZ6’s European counterpart, offering the same type of performance with the stripped down naked sport look.

K&N YA-6009 replacement air filter for the 2009 to 2016 Yamaha FZ6R and 2009 to 2015 Yamaha XJ6 and XJ6 Diversion

K&N has designed a replacement air filter (YA-6009) for the 2009 to 2016 Yamaha FZ6R and 2009 to 2015 Yamaha XJ6 and XJ6 Diversion. K&N air filters are designed to increase horsepower while offering outstanding engine protection. K&N air filters are washable and reusable and are made to last for the lifetime of your vehicle.

Installation on the K&N YA-6009 is a snap, simply remove the stock air filter and drop in the K&N replacement air filter.

Silver Anniversary Celebration for Jegs Allstars at Chicago's Route 66 Raceway

The JEGS Sportsman Allstars will celebrate its Silver Anniversary on June 6 in the United Association Route 66 Nationals at Route 66 Raceway in Joliet, Illinois.

K&N sponsored racer Dan Fletcher made the cut for the Jegs Allstars roster in Comp Eliminator

The annual competition features the best sportsman drag racers from each of NHRA’s seven geographic divisions. Drivers will compete for individual and team honors and a share of the $100,000 purse.

Gary Stinnett will compete in Super Stock during the 25th Anniversary of the invitation only Jegs Allstars event

Aaron Kinard will compete in Super Comp for a share of the $100,000 purse during Jegs Allstars

K&N will be represented as the driver’s battle from the Northeast and Southeast Divisions along with the West Central and Pacific Divisions. Ron Erks won last year in Super Comp and that gave him an automatic spot in JEGS Allstars 2009 as a blocker. The blocker is the defending champion from the previous year.

Slate Cummings has had an impressive season, the K&N sponsored racer will compete in Super Stock. “We use K&N air and oil filters on all of our vehicles,” said Cummings. “With K&N I’m faster and very consistent on the track.” This will be Cummings first Jegs Allstars competition.

Racer Travis Prudhomme uses K&N products and will compete in Super Comp. Other racers who use K&N products and will compete in the most prestigious Sportsman race in the world are Bruno Massel in Comp Eliminator, Doug Lambeck in Comp Eliminator, Gary Stinnett in Super Stock, Steve Wann in Stock and Aaron Kinard in Super Comp.

K&N sponsored racer Dan Fletcher is on fire this year and will compete in Comp Eliminator. “Thanks to K&N my engines outlast and outperform,” said Fletcher. “K&N helps me win.”

Drivers earn Jegs Allstars points by competing at NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events at their home divisions.

K&N has released a replacement lifetime air filter, part number 33-2951 for the 2008 to 2015 Mitsubishi L200 and 2008 Mitsubishi Triton with a 2.5 liter diesel engine. The washable reusable panel air filter provides outstanding filtration and it is designed to increase horsepower.

Each K&N replacement air filter is custom designed to fit in the factory air box. The word front is marked on the K&N air filter and it needs to face up in the air box and towards the front of the vehicle. Simple instructions are included.

2008 Lexus IS F Showcased in K&N Booth at SpoCom in Long Beach, California

SpoCom, the Nation’s largest Sport Compact Automotive Trade and Consumer event returns to the Long Beach Convention Center, Sunday, June 14. SpoCom is open to the public and features over 75 of the industry’s top manufacturers. K&N representatives will be on hand to answer technical questions, hand out decals, catalogues, mini brochures and coloring books.

2009 Lexus Is F will be featured in the K&N booth at SpoCom the Sport Compact Automotive Trade Event in Long Beach, California

SpoCom is all about the people who influence the Sport Compact Industry. It’s meant for dealers to get one-on-one time with manufacturers and is packed with automotive lifestyle entertainment.

More than 76,000 square feet has been added to the 2009 show due to vendor demand. The best prescreened vehicles on the planet will compete for the highly coveted SpoCom Trophy and thousands of dollars in cash. The judges are an all Import Industry Panel who know about cars, work in the industry or attend major car shows all over the world. Troy Sumitomo at 5-Axis Designs put his heart and soul into this year’s trophy design.
