2009 to 2016 Dodge Ram Hemi Gains Estimated 15 Horsepower with K&N Air Intake System

The 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012 Dodge Ram 5.7L Hemi V8 engine boasts more horsepower and a refined ride over the previous generation Ram Pickup. 2009 saw the introduction of a new rear suspension for the Ram that greatly improved ride quality and comfort. Additionally, the 5.7L Hemi V8 engine underwent several refinements boosting power while also increasing fuel economy. While the new Ram is great right off of the assembly line, engineers at K&N have a knack for spotting potential for further improvement. K&N seized the opportunity to build one of their Performance Air Intake Systems (63-1561) for the 2009-2016 Ram 5.7L Hemi V8 models.
K&N's Research and Development Department tested a 2009 Dodge Ram 5.7L Hemi V8 on their in-house dynamometer. With the addition of K&N's new Performance Air Intake System (63-1561), Ram owners can realize an incredible estimated gain of 15.66 more horsepower and 17.54 ft-lbs of torque @ 4688 RPM.
