I recently put a K&N filter in my wife's Ford Escape. I had been told good things about them, mostly from co-workers at Autozone. But it's true, you do get better gas mileage, horsepower, and performance all around. I have put one in my Honda Accord and my Dodge Ram 1500. K&N is the only one for me.

To Whom It May Concern:

I feel it is necessary to commend your customer service department in their exemplary performance handling a recent warranty issue.

Three weeks ago, a support bracket on my air intake broke, necessitating a phone call to your customer service department.  The representative with whom I spoke was understanding, patient, courteous, and knowledgeable about the product, and sent me the replacement part overnight.  I was incredibly pleased with the response time and care that was taken to resolve my problem.

The next day, I received the part, and discovered that it was the improper part number (did not match the packing list manifest).  I called again, and although I was displeased that I had received the wrong part, I was once again very impressed by the professionalism shown by your staff to handle my problem.  Again, the replacement part was sent to me overnight;  fortunately, it was the correct part the second time.

Overall, I was very pleased and appreciative of the level of service provided by K & N, and feel that it is my responsibility to convey my gratitude, especially in this day and age of eroding customer service quality.   Keep up the great work - I have and will continue to promote your products to my friends and family, and plan to install your products on all of my vehicles in the future.

Respectfully,

At first I wasn't so sure about speending all that money for one but today I decided to give it a try and man once I started up my Pontiac Grand Prix. I love it and I will never go back to paper air filiters.

When I heard about K & N filters I was a bit skeptical.  I first got my mechanic's opinion before making a purchase.  Bottom line was that it cost $22 more initially than a standard Toyota air filter, but I was banking on the longevity of the filter to be a good investment.  I usually drive my vehicles about 200,000 miles before a new purchase.

We just returned from a five state, 3,273 mile road trip.  I drive a 2005 Toyota 4 Runner and never got over 20.9 MPG before my K & N install.  On this trip I got up to 24.3 MPG, but never less than 22.5 MPG.  Overall average was about 23.5 MPG.  In effect the filter has already paid for itself, and I am confident that this will be the last filter I need to buy for this vehicle.  Good for me and good for the environment.

My only regret?  I didn't do this sooner.  Any plans for the future?  Yep!  I'll be buying K & Ns for my other vehicles....

I have been using K&N air filters for the last 9 years, this is the first time I have ever given feedback though. Anyhow I have been overly satisfied with the product that K&N has given me over these years. There is always an increase in power, mpg's and performance with a K&N air filter. I recommend to all friends and family, and always get the same reaction, that cost a lot! But I tell them to think for a moment that if you keep the vehicle for along time that you would have spent more on throw away paper filters so do yourself a favor and buy the BEST!

I have a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. It was getting 6 miles to the gallon until I put a K&N Air Filter on it. Now I am getting 10 and sometimes 12 miles per gallon. And the accelration is alot better, too. I just wanted to say thank you.

Let's Be Honest..I Was Looking for something to make the engine of my ride louder..and get best performance..i had a '04 Vw Jetta with 2.0 on it..that little engine is very quiet..even when 'bout to hit the red line on the rev counter..i was a little exceptial about the intake sistem..since the little engine its very quiet..i bough the replacement filter (part.no33-2128)..and..im impressed about the improvemen in my car  with this little mod..it really blow hard..at about 3500rpm the engine its loud..and about 5000 it begans whistling like if it has an intake sistem..im in love with the filter..maybe im goin' to go big and buy the full intake sistem..i recommend this filter if you want to make your ride louder, of course for VW owners..the OEM filter its highly restrictive..put the K&N and it will be louder..or go big with the whole sistem..seriously it really improve the accelaration on 1 and 2 gear..and the sound of the filter whistling since 5000 rpm (red line its at 6500rpm) its music for me..if you have a VW..give them a try..you wont regret it..

I just had to write in and tell you guys how much I appreciate your air filter.  I was sick and tired of getting 14-15 mpg on my 05 F150.  I replaced the air filter with a K&N air filter.  I am totally impressed because now I am getting 16 in the city and got 20 the first time on the interstate the other day.  My next trip is to the store to buy another filter for my Camry.
Thanks!

When looking for a van, I decided on the 2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L with the VCM (variable cylinder management). This is supposed to provide better fuel economy. The sticker read 19mpg for the city and 26 for freeway driving. I drive very conservatively (especially with gas prices the way they are) and I was not getting what Honda said was average even after 5K. I was getting about 15-16mpg in town and 22mpg on the freeway. Enter the K&N air filter. As soon as I checked my mpg again I was getting 18-19mpg in town (now 20mpg) and 25mpg on the freeway (now, sometimes 26 or 27). Thank you K&N for helping me to achieve what Honda said I'm suppose to get with cheap standard air filter. Now I'm looking at getting one for my 2008 VW Passat wagon.

Holden Commodore VY SS(ute!). Just replaced stock air intake with a K&N FIPK gen2 (pod filter). Total install took aprox 2 hours, but i am a computer technician by trade. No hassles with the install, kit looks tidy under bonnet, and OMG! Finally the LS1 motor sounds like a V8, noticing a lower idle RPM and a more responsive pedal. I would only asume better economy but at the moment im just driving by that awsome throaty growl that the new intake gives it. This is the first upgrade iv done on my baby, and am extremely happy with the product.

I love your guys products! I just put a FIPK generation 2 cold air intake (part # 57-2541) on my 2000 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4 7700 with a 5.4 liter. It adds so much! It sounds like a different engine! It has such a sweet growl to it. It even makes the truck sound like it has an exhaust system on it. I was extremely surprised by the added power to it aswell. But, the added fuel mileage is a LIE! I cant keep my foot out of it! Come on K&N, how do expect people to get better gas mileage when we install your incredible products on our vehicles? I will definetely come back to your products as long as I own a vehicle. Thanks again!

I have used a K & N Intake on my 2000 Corvette since almost new and the wife just got a great deal on 2008 Saturn Vue XR with the 3.6 V6 because the original owner was getting poor mileage and traded it for a 4cyl model. The Vue was getting 20 MPG when we first got it. I Ran a bottle of good Injector cleaner and replaced the Air filter with a factory replacement K & N, filled up with 93 Octane and at the next fill up was vey pleased to see 25 MPG. I have used K & N filters for years on my Motorcycles, trucks and cars, keep up the good work guys!

I have a 1999 BMW K12 LT that I ride to work every day, about a 155 mile round trip.  At 187,000 miles I replaced the stock BMW filter with a K&N.  Before the retrofit I was getting just over 50 mpg.  I am now approaching 60 mpg and the bike is running great!!  With the stock filter I was always cleaning the black soot off of the tailpipe.  With the K&N filter the pipe stays clean and shiny!  THANKS K&N.

After purchasing a 57 Series FIPK GenII intake for my '02 Jeep Grand Cherokee I had a question about my appliciation.  I happen to have the 4.7 HO engine and wanted to make sure there were no differnce between the standard 4.7 V8 and the HO 4.7 V8.  I wrote an e-mail the same day my intake arrived and received confirmation that the intake will install with no differences within 2 hours.  Great customer service!!  Instructions were well writen, the kit is very well designed, and the results are obvious.  The intake sounds awesome and almost made my Jeep sound like it has an exhaust system.  Thats my next mod.  No need to run it on a dyno; you can feel the throtle response, mid-range torque, and HP gains at the top end.  Not sure about MPG improvement cause I can't keep my foot off the gas, but if you're worried about your MPG don't own a V8.  I've ran K&N intakes on all of my last 4 vehicles and plan to for any future vehicle.  Great product!!

After 40,000 miles on the K&N stock air filter, I cleaned it for the 1st time before a 1400 mile trip to S.C.  The trip down (downhill to the coast) gave 32 and 35 mpg.  The return trip gave 31 and 37 mpg.  I blame the higher mpg on the last reading to a downhill run from Knoxville and a slight tailwind (the entire trip was 70+ mph).  During the last 4 years with the Accord (V-6, 6 spd) the mpg ranges 30-34.  Since this car has always been with the K&N, the gas improvement and performance cannot be compared to a stock air filter - BUT it is hard to not accept a V-6 getting over 30 mpg during it's lifetime.  This is 1 of the 6 cars I installed K&N filters, and each showed improvement in pep and mpg.

I am the owner of a Mazda BT 50 pick up 4 x 4 truck I purchased the filter for my vehicle on the 10 june 2008 (my vehicle is f4 months old and it is one of the best additions to my vehicle thus far. I said this because I purchased this vehicle because it was a desiel vehicle and this type of fuel is the cheapest in this country. But was dissapointed because i found that i was still spending to much on fuel, but with this K&N filter I am now pleased and I have a little more change in my pocket this filter really works, no lie

I drive a 2000 Ford Explorer and saw it was time to get a new filter.
The (paper filter) I resently put in my truck tore, so I got a k&n.
I was surprized how much power and speed I have now, on the highway I hit 80 and better without knowing. I gotta back off the gas sometimes!
And gas mileage is a plus, thanx k&n...

I started using a K&N air filter in my car in June 2003. I also use the K&N oil filter. Next to my modified head light bulbs these are the best products I have ever bought for my car. The air filter along with the cleaning kit have paid for themselves more than a thousand times.

I have to comment on your product. It was time for a new air filter and I decided to install a K&N before a long trip out west. As you could already guess, I raised the mpg on my 03' 3.8L Impala from 32 to 35 cruising at about 70 mph. I almost paid for the filter in one trip considering the price of a gallon of gas these days. Great product that will be installed on all the family vehicles.

Back in May of 2006 I acquired a K&N air filter for my 1998 Chevrolet Malibu with a 3.1L engine. Due to the amount of driving I do (Sometimes as much as 650 Miles a week!) I was amazed at the gas mileage I was getting. Before the K&N, I was getting about 28-31 mpg's on the highway. I am now getting approx. 34 (if I keep my foot out off it.) The throttle response has also improved and as a volunteer firefighter, every second counts. Now I am patiently waiting for a K&N FIPK. Hope one comes soon 'cause I'll buy it. I STRONGLY recommend K&N to all my friends and co-workers. Thank you, K&N, for such an amazing product.

We got a filter in my mom's 1985 Mercedes 380 SE and after my dad saw the results it had he just had to get them for 2 of his Mercedes. He got them for his Mercedes 190 E 2.3 and 1986 420 SEL.

It quieted the 420 down a lot and the car feels much lighter now when you accelerate and is averaging about 3-4 MPG better overall

In the 190 the filter makes it sound like a cold air intake and gave it a huge improvement in power. It has a sweet spot once you get over 3000 RPM now. Also it went from about 37 MPG on the freeway to a little over 40

We'll definitely be getting them in all of our other cars soon..... All 17 of them

Thanks for the great product

I drive a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0.  In search for improved mpg, I replaced my stock intake (and the bird nest beneath it) with a K&N drop in filter.  My highway mpg jumped from ~21.1 to ~23.6, with much less gas pedal required to maintain 70mph and scale highway hills (which used to require a downshift and killed my mpg).  The money saved in gas will more than pay for the filter!  Thanks K&N.

I'm so happy with my K & N stock replacement air filters. I have a 2007 Corvette with 400 base HP and a 6 speed manual tranny. Driving at 65 mph on the freeway, my digital instant mileage readout shows 51 mpg, it's in 6th gear and running at 1100 rpm. That's astounding, that's my Vette and thank you for such a wonderful product.

I purchased a KN air filter for my 2008 Honda Accord. It's only an inline 4 banger engine, however the KN filter woke it up and gave it an aggressive sound. Although this product is great, I feel a short ram or cold air intake is in order for this vehicle. Please hop to it K&N

I have a 2006 Silverado 5.3L with a Flex engine.  When I first bought my truck on the freeways I was getting 17-19 MPG. I knew I could do better than that and I always used K&N Air Filters so I replaced my stock GM filter with a K&N filter. With just the filter alone I went from 17-19 mpg to 20-21 mpg. Knowing I should be able to do better I bought a cold air intake system from K&N then I went to 21-24 mpg. Now I have just installed a cat-back exhaust to free up the exhaust out take. Getting easy 22-28 mpg.  Just waiting on K&N to help with intown driving. Still bad there 16-17 mpg if your lucky .. But thanks K&N for the great freeway mileage.

I purchased the air intake system for our 04 Olds Bravada. I gained 3 to 5 mpg. Depends on how you drive it. You can tell the difference in throttle response. I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend that much money on a product but it has been worth it. Very easy to install, took me 45 min. I didn't realize how much air restriction there was from the stock setup til I started taking the filter system apart. Thanks for a great product!!!

For the last 5 years I have been extremely satisfied with my K&N intake kit. I recently took my filter element off for its annual cleaning and recharge and found some of the adapter rubber had broke off. I called to order a replacement and fully expected to pay for the part & shipping. I was told it would be taken care of at no charge by a very courteous customer service rep. That's what I call excellent customer service! As always I will tell everyone of my great experiences with K&N's products & services.

Dear K&N,

I have a 2002 Nissan Maxima GLE.  Before replacing my air filter with your product, I was averaging about 23 to 24 mpg and getting about 330 to 335 miles on a full tank of fuel.

After installing your air filter, I am now getting 27 mpg and a minimum of 400 miles on a tank! My fuel economy has improved by almost 20 percent!

Thanks for making a SUPERB product!

I have a 2003 Dodge Neon R/T that I just bought a cold air intake for and I have awesome power improvements. It feels like I got an extra 20 horsepower. I also have and 1999 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins with a cold air intake and have tons more power! I also have a 1989 Dodge Ram W150 360 with a K&N air filter and I had huge improvement in fuel economy from 12MPG to 18MPG AVG. My other vehicles are getting. Neon R/T 30 before to 34 AVG after and Ram 2500 Cummins 20 to 25.1 MPG AVG. K&N is AWSOME!! GREAT PRODUCTS

I have a 1996 F-150 5.8L V8, Before I bought my K&N intake I was averaging around 10mpg city, and 14 highway. After removing my old paper filter, and installing my new cold air K&N intake, I realized how much easier my truck gets up to speed and has alot more power response. The best part would have to be the gas mileage though. I'm getting 13.5 mpg city, and 16 highway!! I by far, am impressed. K&N you have surely done your homework!

I've put a K&N in my last three vehicles; a 2001 Ford Windstar, a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis, and a 2006 Ford Freestyle, the latter two which I presently own.  In each case, my gas mileage has risen 2-3 MPG and that's money in my pocket.  Wouldn't drive a car without one anymore.

Within the last month I purchased a K&N air filter for my 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8s. After hearing about K&N for a few years I decidied to try it. Before with a paper filter I was averaging around 30 mpg in city and 36 mpg on the highway driving. In the three weeks since installing the filter I have noticed an increase of about 3 mpg. There is also a noticable improvement in throttle response and the car idles and shifts at lower rpms. Awesome product, telling my whole family and all my friends.

I Purchased a 2007 Jeep Liberty 2WD 3.7L and had been getting between 285 to 310 miles per tank of gas on a 20 gal. tank so... 16 MPG rounded up average. I installed my K&N Intake System and Noticed that I was now getting 330 to 350 Miles Per tank of gas!!! Thats 18 MPG a 2MPG increase, This with ALOT more Power! Even with Jeep's ANNOYING Torque Management system (reduces Torque along the whole powerband according to load and traction) it has SO Much More power and I noticed that you can hear the Motor really come to life.

I purchased a K & N air filter for my 2000 Acura Integra a couple of years ago; the results I got from this filter alone were much more than I thought I would get.  My gas mileage went from 31 to 34 miles per gallon and acceleration was much improved.  Also, not that it matters, but it made my performance exhaust sound much better.  I am extremely happy with the results from this filter and have found that it is well worth the extra money.

I bought an air intake for my 2001 Silverado with a 4.8 liter and boy did I feel and hear the difference.  After about an hour of installation, I took it for a test drive and could feel the takeoff was stronger, my rpm's would rev much higher between shift points, and I could actually hear the air being sucked into the engine.  I previously had a replacement filter, but it can't compare with a total intake swap.

I have been using K&N air filters for 4 to 5 years. My sister put one on her new (2007) Lexus with great performance results. I have put them on Supra, Ranger, 2 Aleros, Malibu. The pick up after each install was really great. There is no hesitation in any of the vehicles, now, esp the Lexus, which did have hesitation right out of the box, so to speak. Also, I clean the filters at every oil change (15K because I use Mobil 1) and it's like getting a new air filter every time. I rec to all my friends and some have even followed my advice, even when their mechanics said not to do it, and they were and still are happy with the performance of their cars on your filters. Great to find a product that works as advertised!

I just added a K&N air filter to my 2004 Pontiac Grand Am V6.  I commute daily to work and without the K&N was averaging 27 miles per gallon.  Now with the K&N filter my car is getting 33 miles per gallon.  I can also tell a significant improvement in the throttle response.  I also put a K&N filter in my 2005 Ford Excursion V10.  I usually average 12 miles per gallon, but am now averaging 15 miles per gallon.  I can also tell a big difference is its throttle response.  I am overly pleased with the significant mpg improvements in both vehicles and have to say that I am a customer for life.  Thank you K&N!

It's been awhile since I purchased your air filter product several months ago for my 06 Jeep Liberty CRD. This is a 4 cyl. diesel engine that before the air filter change, was giving me 24 m.p.g. highway. For some time now after installing the K&N air filter, I have gotten as high as 27 m.p.g. highway and now am averaging city/highway, just under 24 m.p.g. I have calculated my mileage several times now with fillup's and it has been consistant. Great product.

I recently purchased my K/N filter for my 2006 Evo MR. I went from about 20 mpg to just under 23 mpg. I do have the engine flashed with some upgrades and this small purchase was probably the smartest one I have made so far. I will test the true mpg over the next few weeks, but I expect the numbers to be about the same.

I just installed a Typhoon Series intake on my 2007 Honda Civic Si.  The directions were straightforward, and it took me only about 2 hours to complete.  I love the way it looks...the silver color matches my engine cover.  The sound is fantastic when the revs build, and I can feel a bump in the engine's response.  The price was good and from what I can tell so far, worth it!  This was an easy and cost effective mod that makes a great car even better.
